Chicken Souvlaki

These super juicy and tender chicken souvlaki skewers will bring the taste of Greece right into your kitchen 🇬🇷💙
A great recipe for outdoor gatherings and requires just one handful of ingredients to make. I enjoy my Souvlaki in a wrap with a spread of my homemade Tzatziki Sauce
HOLY DELICIOUSNESS!!! 🤩🤩🤩

These are the ingredients you’ll need to make the juiciest and tenderest Chicken Souvlaki you’ll ever try:
🌯 2 boneless chicken breasts
🌯 1 teaspoon minced garlic
🌯 1 teaspoon @badiaspices onion powder
🌯 1 teaspoon @badiaspices garlic powder
🌯 1 teaspoon @badiaspices Complete Seasoning 
🌯 2 teaspoons @badiaspices oregano 
🌯 Salt & Pepper to taste 
🌯 Juice of 1/2 a lemon or lime
🌯 1/4 cup olive oil
🌯 1/4 cup milk or buttermilk 
🌯 Tortilla or Pita bread and Tzatziki Sauce for serving

🍗 Cut each chicken breast in half longitudinally, then cut each half into equal size cubes. 
🍗 Add the chicken cubes and all the ingredient to a bowl and mix really well. Cover an set aside for at least 2 hours, but for best results, refrigerate overnight. This will allow all the flavors to marry and the chicken to tenderize. 
🍗 Take the marinated chicken out of the fridge a couple of hours before grilling it, to bring it to room temperature.
🍗 Slide the chicken cubes and whatever veggies you have on hand on wooden skewers and grill for about 6 minutes on each side, making sure you baste the chicken with the leftover marinade as you go, to keep it juicy and tender.
🍗 When chicken is cooked through, take it off the grill and allow it to rest for 5 minutes before serving it. 
🍗 Enjoy this delicious Souvlaki with pita or tortilla bread and of course a spread of homemade Tzatziki sauce, and don’t forget to share your photos with me when you make it.
