Here’s a super moist, rich, light, airy and perfectly chocolatey cake that comes together in a pinch and is absolutely legal to eat for breakfast 😄👌🏻🤩

☕️ 1 cup flour
🍫 1/4 cup cocoa powder
🍫 1 teaspoon Espresso powder
☕️ 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
🍫 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
🍫 Pinch of salt
☕️ 1/2 cup brown sugar
🍫 1/2 cup white sugar
🍫 2 eggs
☕️ 1 tsp vanilla
🍫 1/2 cup heavy cream
🍫 1/2 cup milk
☕️ 7 tablespoons butter
🍫 2/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips or chocolate bar chopped in small pieces.

🌻 In a bowl sift all the dry ingredients together: 1 cup flour, a pinch of salt, 3/4 tsp baking powder, 1/4 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp espresso powder and 1/4 cup cocoa powder.
🌻 on the stove, melt 7 tablespoons butter and 2/3 cup chocolate chips or chocolate bar pieces, on low heat while mixing constantly until fully melted and smooth.
🌻 In another bowl, beat 2 eggs with 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup white sugar until well combined and fluffy. Add 1 tsp vanilla, 1/2 cup heavy cream and 1/2 cup milk. Mix on medium speed until the wet ingredients are well incorporated.
🌻 Add the cooled melted chocolate to the wet ingredients and mix until well blended.
🌻 Add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, in 1/2 cup batches, mixing after each addition to prevent flour lumps from forming. Lastly, add 1/2 cup hot water to the batter and mix it in.
🌻 Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and bake in a 325F preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, depending on your oven. The cake is ready when a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
🌻 Once out of the oven, allow the cake half an hour to cool a little before flipping it onto the serving platter.
