How about a bowl of hearty creamy dreamy, one pot shrimp fettuccine pasta à la Ruby?? 🍝🍤👩🏻🍳👌🏻
You’ll need olive oil, butter, shrimp, fettuccine pasta, vegetable or chicken stock, milk, cream, grated Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper and any other seasonings you like on your pasta.
I made this on a weeknight after a very busy day at work and I timed myself. It took exactly 28 minutes to put it together from start to finish and it was so darn delicious! And no leftovers as usual 😄
Here’s part one of the recipe, start by prepping the shrimp:
🍤 Peel, devein and wash your your shrimp.
🍤 Transfer it to colander to drain all excess water, then pat it dry with paper towel.
🍤Drizzle the shrimp with a little olive oil and season with your favorite seafood seasoning mix. I used Badia Spices Complete Seasoning.
🍤 In the same pot you’re going to cook the pasta in, heat 2 tablespoons butter and 1 tablespoon olive oil. Sauté the shrimp until it’s no longer translucent and its color had just changed to orange. Do not over cook the shrimp!
🍤 Transfer the semi cooked shrimp to a plate and start making the pasta. It’s not your traditional pasta boiling technique; it’s much better and tastier! Steps in detail are coming up in the next video.
