Pistachio Tiramisu

You will need: Brewed coffee (room temperature), Lady fingers cookies (Savoiadi), 4 eggs, mascarpone cheese, pistachio cream, powdered sugar

Instructions:

  • First brew the coffee to allow it time to cool off
  • I brewed 1 Starbucks vanilla k cup and 1 cinnamon swirl Nespresso capsule (if not available use whatever instant coffee that you like)
  • You can also add whatever coffee syrup flavor you like
  • I added 2 tbsps of mocha syrup to the coffee (optional)
  • Separate the four egg yolks from the egg white
  • to the egg white, add a dash of salt
  • Add 3 tablespoons of powdered sugar
  • Mix on high speed
  • Continue to mix until you reach a hard peak consistency
  • Transfer the four egg yolks to a bowl
  • Add some vanilla powder to them
  • Add 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar
  • Mix the yolks with the sugar, then beat them with the mixer until the consistency is creamy and light yellow in color
  • Add the egg mix to the mascarpone and pistachio cream
  • Combine them together by using the manual folding technique do NOT use the mixer
  • Add the egg white in batches, one big spoon at a time, And gently fold it in with a spatula
  • Now it’s time to assemble the tiramisu add a layer of cream first
