Ingredients:
Olive Oil, Tomato Paste, Basil, Milk, Pasta, Celery, Garlic, Onion, Carrots, Celery, Chopped Meat, Beef Stock, Parmesan Cheese, Pasta (Spaghetti)
- Heat the olive oil
- Add 1 medium chopped onion
- Sauté until fragrant, this takes about two minutes
- Add 1/2 cup diced celery to the mix
- Add 1/2 cup diced carrot to the mix
- Sauté for another 2 minutes
- Add chopped meat and break it up with a wooden spoon
- Mix the meat with the veggies
- Add 3 cloves of minced garlic
- Add 1 tablespoon of tomato paste
- Mix all together
- Add 1 1/2 cups of crushed tomato
- Add salt and pepper to taste
- Add 1 cup of beef stock
- Add fresh chopped basil and mix it in
- Cover the pot and simmer sauce on low heat for half an hour, and stir every 10 minutes
- Add 1 cup of milk or cream
- Add 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- Mix all together and let the sauce simmer on low heat for another 1/2 an hour
- Boil salted water, and cook your pasta following its packaged directions
