Charlotte Cake 

My take on the trending Hot Milk Cake! I took the amazingly delicious and moist hot milk sponge cake recipe and turned it into this gorgeous Charlotte Cake!

Vanilla Cake ➕Whipped Cream ➕ Fresh Fruit = Heaven on a plate ♥️
To make it, you’ll need:
• 2 eggs
• Vanilla
• ¾ cup sugar
• ¼ cup vegetable oil
• ½ cup milk
• 3 tablespoons butter
• 1 cup flour
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• Dash of salt

🍒 Beat eggs, sugar and oil on medium-high speed, until pale in color and creamy.
🫐 Add sifted flour, baking powder and salt to the wet ingredients, and mix until well combined.
🍓 Bring milk and butter to a light boil, add them to the cake batter and mix them in quickly while the milk is still hot.
🍊 Add vanilla to taste and mix it in the batter
🍇 Pour cake batter into your grease pan and bake on 340F until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
🍑 You can stop at this point and enjoy the cake plain and simple; or go fancy like I did and turn it into a Charlotte Cake. 
🍰 Simply spread a layer of strawberry jam, top it with a layer of whipped cream, then load it with your favorite fresh fruit. I used strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries and red currants.
