Sun-dried Tomatoes

Make a batch of these sun-dried tomatoes to complement your salad, pasta or toast! ♡
They’re super duper easy to make in the oven, and can be customized to be as garlicky and spicy as you like. They can be made with your preferred type of tomatoes and is significantly cheaper than those expensive little jars sold at the store. But most importantly, they are just so incredibly flavorful and juicy 🍅🌻

You’ll need:
🍅 2 pints cherry or grape tomatoes
🍅 1 teaspoon salt
🍅 1/2 teaspoon sugar
🍅 Olive oil
🍅 6 Garlic cloves
🍅 Fresh herbs

🍅 Preheat oven to 250°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
🍅 Slice the tomatoes in half lengthwise and place them cut-side-up on the baking sheet and sprinkle them with salt and sugar.
🍅 Bake for 2.5 to 3.5 hours, or until the tomatoes are dried out, keeping an eye on them so that they don’t burn.
🍅 Remove from the oven and let them cool completely.
🍅 Transfer them to a jar and fill with olive oil until the tomatoes are completely covered.
🍅 Add in sliced garlic cloves and any desired seasonings or herbs; such as rosemary or thyme. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve and enjoy them.
Bon Appétit ❤️
