Garlic Butter Lobster Tails

A meal my family always looks forward to and a 4th of July weekend tradition for us, feasting on this delicious lobster dinner! Delicious beyond words!!

Let’s Lobstaaaa Babyyy!!🦞💃🏻

3️⃣…2️⃣…1️⃣; Let’s Go:
🦞First, wash your lobster tails very well under running water.
🚫Do not submerge the tails in water as the meat can absorb the liquid, creating a watery tasting lobster.
🦞Cut the top of each tail down the center. This process is much easier and safer with a quality pair of scissors.
🚫Do not use a knife when cleaning and cutting lobster tails.
🦞Once you’ve cut the tail open and exposed the meat, spread the shell apart with your hands, then go ahead and devein the lobster using paper towel or your hands.
🦞Give the deveined lobster tails a very good rinse and arrange them in a colander, top end down to drain all the excess water.
🦞Carefully pull the meat out of the shell. Just make sure to leave a small part attached at the end of the tail fin.
🦞Gently pat the lobster meat dry with paper towel. At this point you can go ahead and season the lobster tails and cook them, or you can arrange them on a tray lined with paper towel, cover it with plastic and store it in the fridge for a couple of hours, to cook them later.
🦞The lobsters have to be at room temperature when you cook them, so make sure you take them out of the fridge at least an hour before grilling or baking them.
🦞An amazing lobster tail recipe is coming next. Stay tuned, you wouldn’t want to miss this one‼️👩🏻‍🍳👌🏻
