You will need: 3 cups of shredded mozzarella, 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese, two garlic cloves finally chopped, 2 cups of half-and-half, 2 cups of Ricardo cheese, one 1/3 cup of chicken broth‘s, 2 cups of crab meat, one 1/2 cup of salad sized shrimp, lasagna, one egg, 1/4 cup of flour, one medium onion finally chopped, 1/4 cup chopped parsley and chives, 1/4 cup of butter, Gouda cheese
Instructions:
- In a medium bowl, beat one egg with 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- Add 2 cups of ricotta cheese
- Add 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- Add 1/3 cup of chives
- Add 1/3 cup chopped parsley
- Give it a good mix and set aside
- Now let’s make the sauce:
- In a medium sauce pan, melt butter over medium heat
- Add one medium chopped onion and 2 finely chopped garlic cloves
- Cook for three minutes stirring occasionally until fragrant
- Add 1/4 cup of flour and mix in
- Cook and stir until bubbly
- Gradually add and stir in 2 cups half and half (or 1 cup of milk and 1 cup of cream)
- Now add one 1/3 cup broth, salt and pepper to taste
- Heat to boiling, while stirring constantly
- Boil and stir for one minute
- Remove from heat and set aside
- Time to assemble
- Grease the bottom and sides of a 9 x 13“ baking pan
- Spread 3/4 cup of sauce on the bottom
- Then place 3 sheets of the lasagna on top of the sauce
- Spread half the crab meat and half the shrimp
- Top with 3/4 cup of sauce
- Add a cup of mozzarella cheese
- Then another layer of lasagna sheets
- Now add the ricotta cheese mix
- On top of the cheese mix spread with 3/4 cup of sauce
- Sprinkle with 1 cup of mozzarella
- Top with a layer of lasagna sheets
- Spread with the remaining crab meat and remaining shrimp
- Sprinkle with some mozzarella and spread remaining sauce on top
- Sprinkle with some shredded Gouda cheese
- Optional, top with large peeled shrimp
- Loosely cover the tray with foil and bake at 350° preheated oven for 30 minutes.
- Then remove foil and bake uncovered for another 15 minutes
- Spread a little chopped fresh parsley on top
