Cauliflower Gratin with Beef and Bechamel Sauce

First prepare the beef:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon tomato paste
  • 1 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon all-spice (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Sumac spice (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon pomegranate molasses (optional)
