Easy Cheesy Baked Rigatoni Bolognese

This very cheesy Baked Rigatoni Bolognese casserole is incredibly delicious and one of my family’s all time pasta favorites. It’s made with a hearty and meaty Bolognese sauce and five different cheeses 🍝🧀😍

This is the list of ingredients you’ll need:
🍝 1 lb ground beef
🍝 1 medium onion
🍝 2-3 cloves garlic
🍝 2 tablespoons olive oil
🍝 24 oz marinara sauce
🍝 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
🍝 2 tablespoons fresh parsley
🍝 1 cup ricotta cheese
🍝 2 cups grated cheese blend, divided
🍝 1 cup mini mozzarella cheese balls
🍝 1 1/5 cups grated parmesan cheese, divided
🍝 ½ lb rigatoni pasta
🍝 ¼ cup chopped fresh basil
🍝 ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
🍝 1 teaspoon onion powder
🍝 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
🍝 Salt & Pepper to taste

🍝 To make the sauce, start by browning the ground beef in hot olive oil, making sure to break up the bigger meat lumps with a wooden spoon or spatula, until the meat is evenly browned.
🍝 Add chopped onion and cook for about two minutes. Mix in minced garlic, salt, black pepper, onion powder, dash of ground cinnamon and cook for 2 more minutes.
🍝 Stir in the Marinara sauce, chopped fresh basil, half a teaspoon of sugar, and cook on medium-high heat until sauce is bubbly. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover the pan, and let the sauce simmer for 10 minutes, stirring every couple of minutes.
🍝 While the sauce is cooking, boil the pasta according to package directions, then drain all the water.
🍝 Add in the sauce and all the cheeses, adjust the seasonings to your taste, and give everything a good mix.
🍝 Transfer to an oven safe dish, sprinkle more cheese on top, and bake on 400F for about 25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted. Sprinkle some chopped fresh basil and parsley on top and dig in!

Enjoy 👩🏻‍🍳❤️
