Hearty Turkey Chili

Today is Turkey Chili kind of day! Turkey Chili for lunch and Turkey Chili for dinner 🤩
Tasty, hearty, comforting, and very easy to put together; but most importantly, it’s made with lots of love 🧡

Let’s gather our ingredients to make a pot of tasty hearty Turkey Chili:

🍛 1 can fire roasted diced tomatoes
🍛 1 can pinto beans
🍛 1 can black beans
🍛 1 can red beans
🍛 1 can corn
🍛 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
🍛 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
🍛 Sriracha or hot sauce (optional)
🍛 One 15 Oz. V8 juice (or regular tomato juice)

Seasonings:
All spices used are top quality from @badiaspices
🥄 2 teaspoons salt
🥄 1 teaspoon black pepper
🥄 2 teaspoons cumin
🥄 1 teaspoon onion powder
🥄 1 teaspoon garlic powder
🥄 1 teaspoon paprika
🥄 1 teaspoon oregano
🥄 4 tablespoons chili powder
🥄 1/2 teaspoon sugar
🥄 1 bay leaf

Toppings:
🥗 Diced avocado
🥗 Chopped cilantro
🥗 Sliced jalapeño

Cozy up with a bowl of this delicious Chili topped with avocado, cheddar cheese, jalapeño slices, and sour cream. Now let me show you how I made it:
🍛 In a large pot, heat oil and sauté chopped onion until translucent. Add diced peppers and sauté for 5 minutes. Add minced garlic, ground Turkey (or beef), and cook until the meat is browned.
🍛 Now add all the spices:
Garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, cumin; mix in tomato paste and cook for 5 minutes.
🍛 Add Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, diced tomatoes with green chilies, fire roasted tomatoes, V8 juice, bay leaves, and cook for 10 minutes. Lastly add beans and corn, add salt and pepper to taste, bring mixture to a light boil, cover and let chili simmer for half and hour.
🍛 Once cooked, let it sit for 15 minutes before serving it. Top with diced avocado, shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, and sliced jalapeño. Serve with buttered rolls, over rice, a slice of cornbread, or dig in with tortilla chips like I did. It was mouthwatering delicious and perfectly seasoned 🤩💖

Enjoy! 👩🏻‍🍳👌🏻
