Mango Trifle

What you will need: Graham crackers or digestive biscuits, 1/2 cup condensed milk, vanilla, fresh mangos (ripe not too soft), 2 cups of whipping cream

  • Pour the whipping cream into the mixers bowl
  • Beat the whipping cream on high speed until it doubles in size
  • Add 1/2 cup of condensed milk
  • Add 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
  • Mix on high until well combined
  • Do NOT over mix it. Once you see that the cream is set and its consistency isn’t liquidy anymore turn the mixer off.
  • Cover and refrigerate until you prepare the mangoes
  • Peel the mangoes and slice them in half
  • Then slice the haves lengthwise into thin strips
  • Transfer the mango slices to a plate and set them aside. Cut the part around the mango pit into cubes and use for the filling
  • Now let’s assemble the trifle
  • In a deep serving dish, arrange a layer of graham crackers
  • The second layer is cream, spread it evenly on the crackers
  • Add a layer of mango
  • Repeat the layers
  • The last layer is cream smooth the surface with the back of a spatula
  • Right before serving, garnish the top with mango strips, arranging the longer pieces around the edge of a dish and the smaller ones in the center
  • Enjoy!
