What you will need: Graham crackers or digestive biscuits, 1/2 cup condensed milk, vanilla, fresh mangos (ripe not too soft), 2 cups of whipping cream
Instructions:
- Pour the whipping cream into the mixers bowl
- Beat the whipping cream on high speed until it doubles in size
- Add 1/2 cup of condensed milk
- Add 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
- Mix on high until well combined
- Do NOT over mix it. Once you see that the cream is set and its consistency isn’t liquidy anymore turn the mixer off.
- Cover and refrigerate until you prepare the mangoes
- Peel the mangoes and slice them in half
- Then slice the haves lengthwise into thin strips
- Transfer the mango slices to a plate and set them aside. Cut the part around the mango pit into cubes and use for the filling
- Now let’s assemble the trifle
- In a deep serving dish, arrange a layer of graham crackers
- The second layer is cream, spread it evenly on the crackers
- Add a layer of mango
- Repeat the layers
- The last layer is cream smooth the surface with the back of a spatula
- Right before serving, garnish the top with mango strips, arranging the longer pieces around the edge of a dish and the smaller ones in the center
